Dear Ussal, I apologize for leaving a comment in English, but hopefully the AI can translate -- just as for the WSJ. Excellent article as usual. I wanted to make just one point regarding Europe: some of the largest EU countries, France, Italy and Spain, have youth unemployment rates between 20% and 30%. This seems to be a much bigger problem for their labor markets than the fact that older workers are less likely to change jobs.

Thanks much Marco! It is always an honor to get your comments. And of course, I couldn't agree more. I believe one of the reasons for high youth unemployment is also the prevalence of a gerontocracy, both in private and public sectors, including family-owned companies and political parties. It is very hard to thrive under this leadership demographic.
